Rajasthan Royals (RR) extended their win streak by making it four out of four after a rather comfortable chase against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after the latter put up 189 on the board in their 20 overs. 

Ruining the party after Virat Kohli's unbeaten 113 off 72 balls, RR comfortably chased it down by 6 wickets and five balls to spare. Captain Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler put on a show for their partnership of 148 (86).

After RR's successful run-chase, skipper Samson felt that they were happy with their bowling effort for restricting RCB under 190, considering the dew factor in the later part of the match.

"Yes, anything below 190 with a little bit of dew coming in and with the batting order we have, I think it was a good total to chase," he said.

Praising his bowlers' valiant effort in the first innings, Samson felt the gap helped them to rest and recover for coming back and going about things as they did.

"Touchwood, few more games to go, they are really bowling well. I think the space which we got, the four days of gap helps players to rest, recover, come train and practice. I think that is helping us to come charged up for each and every game," Samson added.

When asked, whether he feels that RR is a batting team or a bowling team, Sanju was all-praises for the unit as a whole, giving them fine rating. He also reflected on how good and important was Jos Buttler's coming to form was to the team.

"It's a very tough one, I recommend bowling is 9 [out of 10] and batting is 8.7. It was just about time, we all knew that if he [Buttler] just gets through that powerplay and hits couple of balls by the middle of the bat, I just need to to stick around him and he will take us home. So very happy for him and the team."

With the win over RCB, RR go top of the table as they will host Gujarat Titans at home on Wednesday, 10th April.
