HCA Honours MS Dhoni Ahead of Hosting Him for His Last Match At Hyderabad

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has taken the opportunity to felicitate ex-India skipper, MS Dhoni for his legendary career, ahead of SRH hosting CSK for the 'southern derby'  at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Friday evening.

Dhoni was presented with the miniature structure of the historic Charminar of Hyderabad. The honours were done by the honourable president of HCA, Jagan Mohan Rao in the presence of other top officials of the association.

President Rao also tweeted the video of the event, expressing his pride in getting this opportunity to do this on behalf of HCA.

The SRH versus CSK clash on Friday is expected to be the 42-year-old legend's final visit to the city as a player as the playoffs of the Dhoni's last season are to be played in the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad and M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

SRH, who won the toss bowled first where the ex-CSK captain only got to face two deliveries and scored one run. Defending the 165 runs, CSK has been charged by the home side while scoring 110/2 after the first half after the carnage of Abhishek Sharma, who scored 37 (12), before getting out.
