Although Virat Kohli couldn't light up Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium with his batting masterclass, the Wankhede crowd got to witness the old Kohli, who would do anything and everything to entertain them. 

In a video circulating on the internet, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) opener was seen dancing, sharing camaraderie with players from both teams, and engaging with the crowd. Kohli spared no effort to entertain the jam-packed stadium filled with Mumbai Indians (MI) fans.

A fan has compiled an edited video of Kohli's antics at Wankhede Stadium during the night game between RCB and MI on Thursday, and it has gone viral. 

The video showcases various facets of the talismanic cricketer, highlighting his fun side.

Among Kohli's memorable moments, he was seen playfully poking Rohit Sharma during the second innings. Additionally, he was captured urging fans to support MI skipper Hardik Pandya instead of booing him.


Rare Failure for Kohli

Coming to the match, Kohli experienced a rare failure amidst his purple patch in IPL 2024 as the RCB star departed early against MI in the high-octane clash at Wankhede Stadium. 

Falling victim to MI's fast bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, Kohli managed just 3 runs off 9 balls, failing to capitalize on the powerplay. 

This marked the first instance in IPL 2024 where Kohli was dismissed for a single-digit score. Holding the Orange Cap, the RCB star has showcased consistent performances with scores of 21, 77, 83 not out, 22, and 113 not out. 

Next, Kohli will be seen in action at his adopted home ground M. Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru as RCB takes on the Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 15.
