The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on the rampant Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a battle of run-feast at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on April 25.

RCB's journey so far

It has been a torrid IPL tournament for RCB. The team is tottering at the last position, with just a solitary win in the competition. The team morale looks down and the Faf du Plessis lead side have almost crashed out of the tournament.

They need to win their remaining six games, but even that won't guarantee them a place in the playoffs. The batting has blown hot and cold, and barring Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik, no one has really stood out. The bowling attack lacks the cutting-edge and are conceding 200+ runs in almost every game.

The foreign recruits, especially in the bowling department has failed to deliver, and that has ben the major issue for the RCB team this season. Someone like a Lockie Ferguson was brought into the team with a ray of hope, but even the New Zealander has failed to live up to the expectations.

With nothing to lose, RCB should bring back Alzarri Joseph back into the playing XI. A good hit the deck bowler, the early movement at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium will help the West Indian bowler. RCB somehow need to stop the deadly duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, and Joseph can be a good choice up front to stop the SRH duo.
