Recently, Pakistan's experienced keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan etched his name in history, completing 3000 runs in T20I cricket. The gritty right-hander achieved the feat during Pakistan's second T20I against New Zealand in the ongoing five-match series. 

After the game concluded, Rizwan earned massive praise from his teammate Shaheen Afridi for unlocking the milestone. 

Taking to his official handle on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Afridi congratulated Rizwan for breaching the 3000-run mark, calling him the Don Bradman of T20 cricket. 

He even highlighted how Rizwan has transformed the game, wishing him all the best for future. 

"Cheers to Muhammad Rizwan - the Bradman of T20 cricket and Pakistan's SuperMan for hitting 3,000 T20I runs! Your impact has transformed the game and silenced the skeptics. Keep soaring, champion! You're an inspiration to many," Shaheen Tweeted. 

However, his congratulatory post didn't go well with cricket fans, as they slammed the left-arm pacer for going slightly overboard. 

Twitter users from India and Pakistan questioned Shaheen's opinion, criticising Rizwan for his under-par strike rate in the shortest format. 

Rizwan, the fastest batter (in terms of innings taken) to score 3000 T20I runs, was retired hurt for an unimpressive 21-ball 22 in the second T20I at Rawalpindi. With the scoreline reading one-all, both teams will be up against each other in the fourth match of the series on April 25.
