Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced a daunting run chase in the 56th match of the IPL 2024 season against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 7th.

With Delhi Capitals setting a target of 222 runs, RR's skipper exhibited exemplary batting prowess, securing his fifth fifty of the season and dictating the innings for RR.

The turing point arrived when Sanju Samson initiated a barrage of sixes against DC's Rasikh Salam, notching up 18 runs in the over with a sequence of 6, 4, 6.

The first six soared a remarkable 99 meters into the stands over long-on, followed by a precisely placed boundary between the keeper and short third, and concluded with another massive six sailing straight down the ground for 79 meters.

At the time of this report, Shubman Dubey and Sanju Samson remained focused on their pursuit of the target, with RR standing at 161 for 3 after 16 overs, demonstrating their determination in the face of a challenging task.
