Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Pat Cummins had a great day with the bat in his side's ongoing IPL 2024 face-off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Although he struck a blistering 15-ball 31, Cummins failed to finish the game for his side, with his Aussie teammate Cameron Green getting his wicket in the high-voltage clash. 

The incident occurred during the 14th over of SRH's innings when Cummins was gradually bringing the hosts back into the game through a stunning cameo. 

However, RCB skipper Faf du Plessis' decision to bring Green into the attack worked wonders, with the tall pacer getting Cummins on his first ball. 

Green began his over with a short ball, inviting Cummins to go over the top in the off side. The Orange Army captain fell in the trap, as he miscued a cut shot only to get caught by Mohammed Siraj, who executed a commendable backward-running grab. 

Thus Cummins, who was looking dangerous, departed back to the dugout. The skipper's dismissal opened the floodgates for SRH, who lost Bhuvneshwar Kumar to get into troubled waters. As of writing, the hosts were on the verge of a defeat, placed at 150 for eight in 17.1 overs.
