CSK's decision to include Moeen Ali in the playing XI paid dividend as the English all-rounder took a special liking towards Ravi Bishnoi and hammered him for three lusty blows.

With CSK struggling in the middle-overs, and losing wickets regularly, they needed a momentum shifting over from somewhere and Moeen Ali provided just that.

In the 18th over, Bishnoi was up against Moeen, but he was taken to the cleaners by the CSK all-rounder for three consecutive sixes. Bishnoi paid the price for being too short and Moeen quickly latches onto it as 18 runs were scored in 3 deliveries. However, Bishnoi had the last laugh as he delivered a nothing delivery, but Moeen found the man at deep mid wicket as he tried to pull it away.

By the time Moeen went back to the pavilion, he had done the damage, by scoring a quick-fire 30 off 20 balls, with 18 of those coming in just 3 deliveries.

Talking about the match, CSK had a torrid start, losing two wickets in quick successions. However, Ajinkya Rahane scored quick-fire runs and was amply supported by Moeen Ali and MS Dhoni towards the end as CSK posted 176/6 in 20 overs.
