KL Rahul, who has been donning big gloves behind the stumps in IPL 2024 despite having two designated wicket-keepers in the squad Nicholas Pooran and Quinton de Kock, did a magnificent stumping which would stay as one of the fastest stumpings in the ongoing edition.
It happened during the 13th over of CSK’s innings when Sameer Rizvi, coming in as an impact substitute, went for a wild swing against Krunal Pandya, who had Ajinkya Rahane's wicket earlier. The LSG all-rounder knew he would charge, and hence, he dragged his length back while bowling at 102.9 kph.
Rahul did the rest, stumping Rizvi with fast hands, which in fact led the third umpire to check how the dismissal happened.

As head coach Justin Langer revealed, Rahul has been keeping behind the stumps in IPL 2024 to keep his chances to be in India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad alive.
At the time of writing this, CSK are 114/5 after 16.1 overs, with Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja in the middle, batting on 10* and 46* respectively.
