Sunil Narine and Phil Salt gave KKR yet another explosive start on Friday (April 26) in Match 42 of IPL 2024 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The Purple and Gold Brigade, thanks to their explosive hitting, raced to 70 runs off just five overs after Sam Curran won the toss and asked them to bat first.

During the period, the highlight was the manner in which both Salt and Narine smashed Kagiso Rabada all over the stadium in a 21-run over.

Rabada bowled an over-pitched delivery to Salt, who creamed it for four runs to start things off. Narine took charge from thereon, smashing four, six, and another four on three consecutive deliveries to spoil Rabada's figures in the opening over.
