KL Rahul, the sensational batter, turned a year older on Thursday (April 18). On this special occasion, Suniel Shetty, his father-in-law, shared a heartwarming birthday post that featured himself alongside KL Rahul and his son Ahan Shetty. 

As the Indian star batter celebrates his 32nd birthday, Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt message for his son-in-law KL Rahul, who married his daughter and actress Athiya Shetty last year.

KL Rahul Special Birthday Post By Father-In-Law Suniel Shetty

The post that Suniel Shetty shared for KL Rahul on his birthday went viral as the message shared by the actor was very touching and mesmerising. The actor also stated that he shares a very special connection and bond with the Lucknow Super Giants captain.

"They say it’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters… feeling blessed to have you in ours for it’s a connection I can’t explain… happy birthday Rahul… love you son," Suniel Shetty wrote in the caption.

It is worth mentioning, that the beautiful couple tied the knot last year in January 2023, in a beautiful South Indian wedding ceremony. The couple has been the talk of the town and grabbed much media attention. 

Earlier, there were reports that Athiya is currently pregnant and the couple is expecting their first child together, but a source close to the couple said that the news is fake and there is sheer misinterpretation.

KL Rahul is playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 edition and will be seen playing against Chennai Super Kings on April 19, 2024.
