In another embarrassing loss, a weak-strength New Zealand squad beat Pakistan in a close thriller to lead 2-1 into the five-game T20 series. Following the heartbreak, kids present at Gaddafi Stadium broke down in tears as the visuals caused distress on the internet.

As seasoned Kiwi players prioritised IPL over national duties, New Zealand sent a weak-strength team to Pakistan for the five-game T20 series.

After the series opener got washed due to rain, the Babar Azam-led side secured the second game before NZ bounced back with two enthralling wins.

On Thursday, NZ defended 18 runs off the final over as James Neesham kept his nerves despite getting hit for a boundary off the first ball.

Imad Wasim, the last batter standing, failed to see his team through as PAK registered its second humiliating loss in the five-game series.

Needless to say, Pakistan cricket hit a new low when a non-regular NZ side overpowered a full-strength Pakistan side on their home turf, causing absolute heartbreak for the fans, especially the kids.

In the latest visuals swirling around the internet, two kids present at Lahore's Gaddafi stadium broke down in tears as they witnessed the horror scenes of Pakistan getting hammered by the visitors.

Needless to say, the extraordinary match has reignited debates and discussions about the state of cricket in Pakistan and the direction in which the team is heading.

Despite the leadership transition, the team's fortunes are still the same, and with the T20 World Cup in sight, things are not looking good for Pakistan cricket.
