Universe boss Chris Gayle got into a hilarious banter with eight-time Olympic medalist sprinter Usain Bolt over a past incident where the racer dismissed him in a charity game.

Usain Bolt, a renowned sprinter and eight-time Olympic medalist, has been named the brand ambassador for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

However, ahead of the tournament, the sprinter got engaged in a funny banter with Universe boss Chris Gayle.

It all started when Gayle recalled an incident where Bolt dismissed him in a charity match years ago. The batter added that while he smashed Bolt for a few boundaries, the racer had the last laugh.

However, Chris Gayle now wants revenge and decides to challenge Usain Bolt in his own field, which is a 100-metre race. Gayle added that he is a sprinter and can take Bolt any day as the Olympic champ is scared of him. 

Interestingly, when Usain Bolt was briefed about Gayle's challenge, he said he was not worried about it as everyone knew how bad of a runner Gayle was. 

He struggles to run for singles on the field. So there's no competition if he ever lands up on a race track alongside the universe boss.

Meanwhile, Chris Gayle was in no mood to relent and referred to Bolt's comments as lies. He further challenged the sprinter to bring additional troops alongside him and promised to still beat them in a 100-metre race.

That being said, Usain Bolt shared the video of the full banter on his social media and urged fans to be the ultimate decision maker as to who's a better sprinter between the two Jamaican heroes.
