Despite the Indian Premier League (IPL) being in full flow, the fans and cricket lovers are gearing up for a proper cricket extravaganza as the T20 Cricket World Cup is scheduled to take place next month that will be co-hosted by the West Indies and the USA. 

India's 15-member squad was announced on April 30, 2024, with Rohit Sharma given the responsibility of the captaincy and Hardik Pandya appointed as the vice-captain.

Indian star batter Rishabh Pant will make his international comeback and has also been included in the team. Shivam Dube has been included in the team as the CSK all-rounder has been in some commendable form in the ongoing IPL.

 The team has certain notable names like Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, and the spin department consists of Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav. 

For the fast bowling Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj and Hardik Pandya have been included in the team. While Rinku Singh's omission from the main squad raised eyebrows. 


Team India's Jersey For T20 World Cup Leaked?

A recent social media post that is going viral allegedly showed Team India's new jersey for the upcoming tournament. 

According to the now-viral post, Team India is expected to wear an orange-blue combination jersey with the front of the jersey in blue along with orange and white strips for the arm. 

The V-shaped neck of the jesrsy also has tri-colour collar that represents the Indian flag. 

The back side of the jersey is not visible in the viral post but the logos of BCCI and ADIDAS, the official kit sponsor, and Dream 11 the lead sponsor are seen on the jersey.
