Sunrisers Hyderabad got their campaign back on track against CSK after being derailed by KKR in the last game. They won the 18th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium by a comfortable margin of six wickets with 11 balls remaining in the game. 

The SRH bowlers, under Pat Cummins's strategic guidance, laid the foundation for this win. They read the wicket perfectly and used the cutters and slower ones to their advantage, a tactical move that proved effective in restricting CSK to a below-par total of 165 runs in their 20 overs. 

The foundation was strengthened by a blazing start from the SRH top order, led by Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. They scored 78 runs off the first six overs and nearly ended the game as a competition. Though CSK tried to crawl back into the game, the SRH batting line-up, with Aiden Markram playing a crucial role, proved too much for them. The 'Orange Army' managed to breach the target in 18.1 overs, losing only four wickets.
