During a recently released episode of a talk show, Suresh Raina made huge remarks about the party culture during the initial years of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Raina said that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) never partied and the teams who did haven't won yet.

The mentioned part of the interview comes when the ex-cricketer talks about the evolution of T20 cricket in India post-2007 World T20 [now T20 World Cup] and IPL. The interviewer further goes on to ask the former CSK batter about the partying culture of the IPL in the first few years.

Although Raina didn't mention any team, the interviewer interpreted it to be RCB and said "Aap RCB bolna chahte ho par bol nahi rahe ho."

Raina went to comment - "Chennai ne kabhi party nahi kari. Jisne party kari, vo log kabhi IPL mein jeeti nahi. Agar raat ko party karoge to din me kheloge kaise aap?" - said in The Lallantop's interview. [Chennai never partied. The teams who partied never went onto win the tournament. If you will party in the night, how could you play at the day time?].

Interestingly, Bengaluru, Delhi and Punjab are the only teams who have playing the league since the first edition and are yet to win.

Later in the interview, Mr IPL, for all the hard work Virat Kohli has done for the franchise over the years has also expressed his desire to see the ex-RCB captain win the IPL before he hangs up his boots for good.
