Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli have often made headlines due to their heated rivalry on the field during their playing days and even after Gambhir's retirement.

Last year, when Gambhir was serving as a mentor for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), there was an infamous duel between Kohli and Gambhir on the field.

However, this year, much to everyone's surprise, Gambhir who is with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hugged Kohli after the game vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB ).

Despite Gambhir's attempt to fuel a rivalry between KKR and RCB, it was ultimately just mind games from Gambhir, and they showed mutual respect on the field when it mattered.

Gambhir expresses his desire

Gambhir has been vocal about his relationship with Virat Kohli, and in a recent interview, with Sportskeeda, he expressed his desire to learn some dance moves from Kohli.

"Even if I want to, I cannot pull off even one move. So if I had to learn something from Virat, it would be his dance moves (smiles)"-Gambhir said.

Gautam Gambhir also addressed the perception of rivalry between him and Kohli, stating that it's primarily a creation of the media. He emphasized that the media doesn't truly understand his character.

Gambhir's KKR will face in-form DC on April 29, at the Eden Gardens. They lost their last match against the Punjab Kings and will be eager to bounce back after two back-to-back losses.
