Smriti Mandhana is one of the most celebrated women cricketers in the world and her class and ability to play effortlessly, is second to none. She is an important player for India and if she gets going, India more often than not end up on a winning side.

In the second ODI between India Women and Australia Women, India needed Smiriti to go big on a turning track as India try to chase the target of 259 set by Aussies. She started brightly too and scored 34 off 38 balls with three fours and one six. 

It was the second delivery of the 16th over and Alana King tossed it up on middle. Mandhana danced down the track to send it over the ropes but ended up hitting it off the bottom of his blade. The ball went high in the air and straight to Tahila McGrath at long on who took an an easy catch.

At the time of writing, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh are batting in the middle and India still need 165 runs from 30 overs.
