Gautam Gambhir is known for being super-aggressive on the field, and he has often been questioned due to his blatant takes and arguments. Such a thing happened on Sunday when KKR and RCB were up against each other in Match 36 of IPL 2024 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

The incident happened after Virat Kohli had an ugly spat with the umpires following a controversial dismissal regarding a waist-high full toss. Gambhir and Kohli did not have a great bonding experience lately until their reunion occurred earlier this season during KKR versus RCB. However, Gambhir's argument was for another reason, and that too, when KKR were in a tense situation.

When two overs were left, umpires told KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer they couldn't have five fielders outside the circle during the final 12 deliveries. Gambhir was unhappy with the decision, and he, along with Chandrakant Pandit, went straight to the fourth official for explanation.

There were too many interruptions during the match, and that was Gambhir's point there. However, the umpire explained that it was not because of that, rather, it was only due to the bowler's slow rate.

In the end, Gambhir kept his calm and returned to his seat before KKR won a nail-biting thriller by winning it by one run.
