In a thrilling encounter between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Faf du Plessis, the skipper of RCB, showcased his batting prowess with a quickfire 25 runs off just 12 balls. 

Opting to bat first after winning the toss, RCB's opening pair of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis seemed to be in good form initially.

However, the match took a dramatic turn in the 4th over when SRH's bowler T Natarajan managed to dismiss du Plessis. Aiden Markram, fielding at extra covers, pulled off an extraordinary catch to send du Plessis back to the pavilion.

The ball was short and wide outside the off stump, tempting du Plessis to go for a big shot. Unfortunately for him, he mistimed the stroke, and Markram, positioned at mid-off, showed exceptional reflexes to take the catch.

This stunning catch not only ended du Plessis' promising innings but also provided SRH with a crucial breakthrough. Natarajan's delivery proved too tricky for du Plessis to handle, and Markram's athleticism ensured RCB suffered an early setback.

As of the latest update, RCB stands at 67 for 2 after 8 overs, with the loss of du Plessis being a significant moment in the match.
