With two wickets down, Ajinkya Rahane is pouring his class against Delhi Capitals (DC) bowlers at Vizag on Sunday in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) experienced pro showed his class with a flick shot over deep wicket for a maximum against the likes of DC pacer, Anrich Nortje.

Bowling his first over of the day, Nortje tried to pepper things up with a 142 kmph delivery, which was darted towards on Rahane's pads, and the CSK number 3 used his wrists to deposit the South African speedster for a sixer.

Delhi were able to post 191 runs on the board, thanks to Rishabh Pant's fighting 51 and David Warner's aggressive 52. With the ball, the Pant-led side snapped both the CSK opener inside the powerplay as Khaleel Ahmed removed both Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra in his first two overs.

At the time of publishing, Rahane (25*) and Daryl Mitchell (15*) are looking to stir Chennai's chase with their partnership for their third-wicket partnership. 

Chennai have been unbeaten in the tournament so far, whereas; DC are still looking to get off the mark in the IPL 2024.
