In a thrilling turn of events at the ongoing KKR vs RR match at Eden Gardens, Avesh Khan has once again showcased his prowess, this time not only with the ball but also in the field. The moment that stole the show was Khan's bare-handed bullet catch that sent Phil Salt crawling back to the pavilion.

Watch the video here:

As Khan delivered a back of a length delivery over the off stump, Salt attempted to dispatch it back towards the bowler with force. However, mistiming his shot, the ball struck the upper half of the bat, deflecting towards Khan's left. With lightning reflexes, Khan stretched out his left hand and snatched the ball mid-air, leaving Salt stunned and the crowd in awe.

What made this catch even more remarkable was the context surrounding it. Just days ago, Khan and his skipper, Sanju Samson, had a miscommunication during a catch in their previous game.

Samson had remarked in the post-match presentation that perhaps the one wearing gloves stood a better chance of catching. It seems Khan took those words to heart as, after the catch, he pointed towards Samson, indicating a successful redemption.

In a symbolic gesture, Samson then handed over his gloves to Khan, who triumphantly raised them high in Kolkata.  At the time of writing, KKR is at 64/1 with Sunil Narine and Angkrish Raghuvanshi leading the team.
