Shreyas Iyer, the skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders has lost an important toss in the 31st game of IPL 2024 against Rajasthan Royals, and Sanju Samson had no hesitation in deciding to chase on a flat batting deck at Eden Gardens.
For Rajasthan Royals, the big guns, Jos Buttler and Ravi Ashwin are back while KKR are going with the same team that won the last game against LSG.

Tanush Kotian and Keshav Maharaj are not playing this game while they have also included Rovman Powell in their starting XI, with Buttler most likely to play as Impact Player in the second half.
RR still have five quality bowling options at their disposal though and they need everyone to live upto their billing to restrict a strong KKR batting line-up to a chaseable total.
KKR, on the other hand, have a settled arsenal and are going with the combination that has worked for them so far. Phil Salt was at his belligerent best in the last game while Sunil Narine has also turned back the clock with his all-round skills.
