The T20 format can be considered the harshest one when it comes to the bowlers. With the freedom of playing fearlessly, the batters capitalise on each and every opportunity to take down the bowlers and the shorter boundaries act like villains for them.

Despite all this hammering, the bowlers manage to come out on top of the batters, but sometimes, they go for too many runs in the process of picking up a wicket.

In the Indian Premier League, we have often seen teams scoring over 200 runs, which showcases nothing but cruelty to the bowlers. The fact that the shortest format of the game will produce a lot more maximum hits than that of the other two formats is pretty disheartening as well.

At OneCricket, we have managed to find out the top 5 bowlers who have conceded the most number of sixes in the history of the IPL. Let's take a closer look at them.

5. Amit Mishra - 182

The premier left-arm spinner of the Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja will also find himself under the heavy bat of the batters. He may be a go-to bowler for the CSK team, but many of the batters have managed to take advantage of his speed and have punished him with a lot of sixes, as he comes third on the list of conceding most sixes in the IPL.

The all-rounder has been one of the foremost contributors to the CSK team in all three departments of the game. When it comes to bowling, the left-arm spinner has scalped 155 wickets in 202 innings and on the other hand, he has conceded 199 hits into the crowd, which puts his name under this unwanted record.

The leg-spinner started his IPL journey with the Mumbai Indians and became a major contributor for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

After being released a couple of seasons back, Yuzi came into the Rajasthan Royals team and became inevitable. Even though he has scalped 198 wickets in just 150 innings, but he has also conceded 200 sixes in the league so far.

Like Chahal, Chawla also went for many runs despite being one of the best in the league and comes at the first spot when it comes to conceding the most sixes.

In his IPL career, Chawla has represented Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. He has scalped 181 wickets in 185 games so far and even had a brilliant time in the 2023 season.

But when it comes to sixes conceded, his deliveries have taken the aerial route 211 times, which is the most in the history of the IPL.
