While Jonny Bairstow hammered a blistering ton, exceptional knocks from Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh got the Kings past the finish line. 

Swashbuckling South African batter Rilee Rossouw also struck a valiant cameo, forming a crucial partnership with Bairstow during the run-chase.

The duo took a particular liking for veteran KKR all-rounder Andre Russell, smacking him for a few maximums. 

The incident occurred during the 12th over of Punjab's innings when they had already raced to 150 for one, courtesy of blistering knocks from Bairstow and Prabhsimran. 

Russell started his over with a harmless short-of-good-length delivery, which Rossouw whacked away with utmost authority over the mid-wicket stand for a six. 

After the left-handed batter went off strike through a single, Bairstow clobbered two consecutive sixes to stun the Kolkata crowd. 

When Rossouw departed in the 13th over off Narine's bowling, Shashank Singh joined Bairstow in the middle. Continuing his dream run in the IPL 2024, the former played another incredible 28-ball 68*-run cameo, powering the Kings to a memorable win.
