One of India's most destructive and loved batters, Rishabh Pant continues to make inroads in his journey towards coming back to cricket successfully.

Pany suffered a near-fatal road accident in December 2022 in Roorkee, Hardiwar, and has* been out of active cricket since.

Currently, Pant is undergoing rehabilitation, reached Dehradun over the weekend via helicopter, and is due to travel to Hindu pilgrimage sites Kedarnath and Badrinath.

As reported by India Today, Pant's family friend and MLA Umesh Kumar, stated that Pant wanted to visit the holy site during treatment but was advised against travel to mountains by doctors.

The DC player was recently seen celebrating his sister's birthday along with his family.

Kumar further stated how the Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper-batter played a friendly match as well, and will pray for India's success in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 during his Kedarnath and Badrinath visit.

Lately, Pant has been sweating it out in National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, under the watchful eyes of BCCI's medical panel.

The 25-year-old regrouped with Team India in Alur during their Asia Cup 2023 camp in August. Pant met up with coach Rahul Dravid and DC teammate Kuldeep Yadav as well during his short visit.

For India since 2018, the highly-rated keeper has featured in 33 Tests, 30 ODIs, and 66 T20Is, scoring 4,123 runs with six centuries and 19 fifties.
