Rishabh Pant faced heavy criticism for his innings of 44 runs off 35 balls during the 267-run chase against SRH.

Despite a promising start provided by Fraser McGurk after DC lost their openers for cheap, Pant's performance was perceived to have wasted the early advantage, leading to disappointment among fans.

As Rishabh Pant continue to adjust with his post recovery life, there's a sense that he's not yet at full fitness and readiness for the tough challenges ahead. Recent performances suggest he may not be prepared to handle significant pressures.

With rumors circulating that Pant could be India's wicketkeeper-batsman for the T20 World Cup, his recent struggles raise questions about his suitability for such a crucial role.

Twitter reacts as Rishabh Pant disappointed again

Delhi Capitals seemed to be out of the game since the Head-Sharma duo dominated their bowling attack in the powerplay overs. Chasing a gargantuan total of 267 runs was always going to be a tough task, especially for a team like Delhi, which has struggled in this season of the IPL.

However, after Jake Fraser-McGurk's impressive performance in the game where he scored 18 balls 65, Delhi had a slight chance of hope of winning the game. However after McGurk got out and Rishabh Pant-Stubbs came to pitch, the game was dead again for DC. DC captain Rishabh Pant faced criticism from fans after the loss.

After the loss, Delhi Capitals dropped to 7th place in the standings with only 3 wins out of 8 games. Securing a spot in the playoffs is appearing increasingly difficult for DC given their current situation.
