The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team is making history this season in Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). They've done something no other T20 team has done before. For the third time, they've scored over 250 runs batting first in this season IPL.

The rival teams will be watching closely as Sunrisers Hyderabad continues to break records and set new standards in the IPL.

Auction table smartness clicking for SRH

Sunrisers Hyderabad made some brilliant moves in the mini auction table, securing the players they aimed for. Along with that their efforts from past seasons are also bearing fruit now and they assembled an A-team for this season with monstrous batting power.

When SRH scored 277-3 against Mumbai Indians (MI), many dismissed it as a fluke one time wonder. However, they proved their batting strength again by surpassing it against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), reaching a magical 287-3,  which is now an IPL record.

On Saturday, facing Delhi Capitals, they posted 266-7, marking the third highest score in IPL history.

Abhishek Sharma-Travis Head massacre over DC bowlers

Abhishek Sharma, who showed promise in the past seasons, has transformed into a powerhouse in this Cummins-led side, scoring 46 runs from just 12 balls with 6 sixers.

His opening partner Travis Head at the same time continues to dominate on Indian pitches for SRH. The Australian left-handed batter shows no fear as he aggressively hits every ball that comes his way to score 89 runs from 32 balls.

After Head and Abhishek got out SRH struggled for a bit. But in a game where Klaasen and Markram failed, Nitish Reddy and Samad took charge, leading SRH to a total of 266-7.

Had Klaasen remained at the crease for a longer period, the score could have surpassed 300, given his outstanding form.
