After being benched for several games, Cameron Green made his return to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team today against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens, and he made an immediate impact on the field.

Green, fielding inside the circle, took a superman-esque catch to dismiss the dangerous Angkrish Raghuvanshi off Yash Dayal's delivery.

Dayal delivered a length delivery angling into the right-hander. Raghuvanshi attempted to chip it over mid-wicket, aiming for what should have been a boundary as it was the last ball of the powerplay. 

However, Green backtracked, kept his eyes on the ball, which was dropping over his right shoulder. Despite the difficulty, he arched back, used his height and took a one-handed cracker of a catch.

KKR seemed on track for another 250+ score with the way Phil Salt was batting, but Green's catch brought RCB back into the game. The impact of the catch was evident on skipper Faf du Plessis' face. KKR was looking dangerous as they scored 75 runs in the powerplay. 

Green, being notably tall, cleverly utilized his height to secure the catch. Netizens wasted no time in creating memes celebrating both the catch and Green's towering stature.





Upon his return to bowling, Green struck in just the second ball to dismiss Venkatesh Iyer and later bagged Shreyas Iyer, ending his day with the day with 2/35. Meanwhile, the Knight Riders were able to put a huge total of 222-6 on the board.
