After losing their respective first games in the CWG 2022, the arch-rivals will cross swords against each other in Edgbaston tomorrow at 3.30 PM IST.

Contrary to men's cricket, Pakistan have an absymal record against India in women's internationals. India thrashed Pakistan by seven wickets the last time these two teams faced each other in a T20I game.

Indian women fought neck-to-neck against the mighty Aussies in their first match, while Pakistan struggled badly against the same opposition in the recently concluded Tri-nation series in Ireland.

Considering the head-to-head record and current form, India will start as firm favourites in this game.

Key Players

Shafali Verma has 801 T20I runs to her name at a blistering strike rate of 139.55. She smashed 48 off 33 balls against a strong Australian bowling attack in the first match.

Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian captain hammered her way through to a fluent 34-ball 52 against Australia. Kaur has slammed 144 runs in her last four T20Is at an unreal average of 72.

Renuka Singh Thakur, India's pace sensation, dismantled Australia's powerful top order on Friday, picking four wickets for just 18 runs.

Nida Dar, the experienced Pakistani all-rounder saved her side from an embarassing defeat against Barbados, scoring a brilliant 50* off just 31 deliveries.

Pitch Report: The surface at Edgbaston has favoured the batters so far. There will be some movement early on, so the openers should be a little watchful. The wicket hasn't shown the signs of slowing down with the game's progression so far, so the toss-winner should ideally opt to chase at this venue to be on the safe side.
