Meg Lanning recently took the field for Victoria Women at the 2024 Women's National Cricket League.

The 32-year-old will soon be making her return to competitive cricket through the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 season. A couple of months ago, the cricketer was retained by the Delhi Capitals franchise and was even given an extension as their captain.

Lanning took part in the inaugural WPL season last season, where she led the Capitals to a remarkable runners-up campaign before losing out to eventual victors Mumbai Indians in the title clash. She also finished the tournament as its highest run-maker, finishing with 345 runs from just nine WPL 2023 innings.

Lanning will be seen leading the Delhi Capitals in their opening WPL 2024 game against the defending champions on February 23 in Bengaluru.
