Mayank Yadav stormed the headlines on Saturday, showcasing an exceptional display of pace bowling at the Ekana Stadium against Punjab Kings (PBKS). His performance left many in awe, including legendary pacer Stuart Broad. 

It seems Broad was so impressed that he even warned Steve Smith about the impending challenge when Team India visits Australia later this year. With Yadav's emergence, he believes  Australia might have a formidable challenge on their hands on facing Mayank's pace.

Mayank Yadav, who's only 21, bowled some really fast balls yesterday, consistently going over 150 kmph. 

One of his deliveries even reached 155.8 kmph, making it the fastest of the season and outdoing big names like Nandre Burger, Pathirana and Anrich Nortje. But Yadav isn't just about speed. He's also got great control and knows exactly where to place the ball.

Predicting Mayank's role in India's Test team now is too early to call. But India will face a crucial series in Australia this year, vital for their Test Championship final hopes next year and winning in Australia requires a strong pace attack. 

India already have Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Mohammed Shami, but injuries are a concern lately. With Mayank's pace, India's bowling lineup appears stronger on paper, potentially improving their chances at Australia.

Stuart Broad was pointing out this possibility, Mayank bowling with Bumrah in Indian test team. 

“Obviously, he has natural pace, but his control of line and length was exceptional for a young bowler,” Stuart Broad told Star Sports. "You don’t need to get far ahead. But I have already texted Steve Smith. If you are seeing this guy in Australia in the Test series, get used to it,” Broad added.

Mayank Yadav's future trajectory will be determined by upcoming IPL matches. Indian team selectors are likely to monitor his progress closely, recognizing his talent and potential impact.
