After securing two victories on the road, Rajasthan Royals (RR) are back in Jaipur for their final match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. They'll face off against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in what promises to be another exciting clash between two top teams.

Rajasthan have been dominant this season, winning six out of seven games. Their batting lineup has been in exceptional form, consistently dismantling opposition bowling attacks.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have struggled with consistency, and they'll be keen to address this issue.

In IPL history, Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians have squared off 29 times, with Mumbai emerging victorious in 15 matches and RR- 13.

One match ended without a result. In their previous meeting earlier this season, the Royals secured a comprehensive win.

When RR Faced MI In Mumbai

Batting first, Mumbai had a rough start, losing four wickets in the opening four overs, three of them without scoring a run.

At 20-4, skipper Hardik Pandya partnered with Tilak Varma to stabilize the innings. Pandya then launched a counterattack to steer his team out of trouble. However, his stint was brief, and his dismissal set Mumbai back once again.

Tilak couldn't rescue his team either. There were no big partnerships as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Tim David tried to anchor the innings, but he fell before he could accelerate. As a result, MI could only manage to score 125 runs.

Needing just 126 runs to win, RR lost Yashasvi Jaiswal early. Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler relieved the pressure with some boundaries.

Both departed within a couple of overs, but with the small target, Rajasthan had the luxury of taking their time. Ravichandran Ashwin, batting at number 5, paired with Riyan Parag and maintained a steady pace.

Ashwin was dismissed for 16, but Parag remained composed and guided his team to victory with another fifty, supported by debutant Shubham Dubey.
