Australia's Marnus Labuschagne continues his dream run in red-ball cricket. The current number 1 ranked Test batter has achieved yet another record and has equalled the great Virat Kohli on the all time list and bringing up a new career-high rating.

Earlier in the month, Labuschagne surpassed Joe Root as the new number 1 batter in Tests, but he has moved further ahead at the top of the list following a stellar Test series against West Indies at home.

The 28-year-old amassed 502 runs in two matches, and his magnificent 163 during the first innings of the Adelaide Test helped him equal Kohli with 937 points.

Labuschagne now holds the equal 11th best rating of all time. Just three Australian players - Donald Bradman (961) Steve Smith (947) and Ricky Ponting (942) have better Test ratings.

Another Aussie had a jump in the rankings following the West Indies series. Travis Head continued his red hot form and climbed seven places to sixth overall, with 774 points.
