Rohit Sharma failed to carry on the momentum he had in IPL 2024 on Monday (April 22), as Trent Boult, one of the best in the business with the new ball, got him for a six-ball five in Match 38 of IPL 2024 between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, taking place at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

The veteran opener, who had a disastrous record against Boult, fell to him as early as the opening over of the day.

After winning the toss, Hardik Pandya hoped that Rohit and Ishan would give them a fiery start. However, the result became exactly the opposite, as both fell inside the first nine balls of the contest.
