In a high-stakes encounter between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Chepauk, the pressure cooker of IPL cricket witnessed a moment of fragility as Ajinkya Rahane's resolve cracked under the relentless assault by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shahbaz Ahmed.

Rahane, known for his composure and technique, found himself trapped in a web of pressure, struggling to find his rhythm against the disciplined bowling of Bhuvneshwar. With the scoreboard ticking, the need to accelerate the run rate weighed heavily on Rahane's shoulders.

However, as the tension mounted, Rahane's attempt to break free proved fatal. A mistimed heave off Bhuvneshwar's delivery saw the ball soar high into the Chepauk sky, only to land safely in the hands of Shahbaz Ahmed stationed at deep mid-wicket.

Rahane's departure dealt a big blow to Chennai's momentum, as at the time of writing,  CSK stands at 50/1 with Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Daryl Mitchell cruising the Chennai cruise.
