Ahead of the Australian tour, Pakistan's new skipper Shan Masood talked about positive batting, which the middle-order batter has himself showcased in the series thus far.

In the ongoing Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Masood slammed a quick 54 in the first innings, and then on today (Day 4) struck an aggressive 60 with Pakistan chasing 317 to win.

Masood first added 41 runs with Imam-ul-Haq, and then stitched a 72-ball 61 stand with Babar Azam for the third wicket, keeping Pakistan on course.

However, Masood's impressive innings was cut short by Australian captain Pat Cummins, who has been the most lethal bowler in the second innings, having already picked up Haq.

In the 26th over of the second innings, Cummins induced a false shot from Masood, who ended up handing Steve Smith a simple catch in the slip off an outside edge.

The Pakistan skipper knock contained seven fours, which ensured that the scoreboard kept ticking away.
