Jaydev Unadkat has been blowing hot and cold in IPL 2024, and in the game against RCB at Hyderabad, he brought out his very best with three wickets in four overs. He unleashed flurry of his clever variations and got wickets of Virat Kohli, Lomror and Rajat Patidar. The third wicket of his spell was of Lomror and it was a well-disguised slower delivery

It was the 17th over of RCB's innings and Jaydev Unadkat bowled a slower off-cutter on a fullish length. It was outside off and Mahipal Lomror tried to pump it over deep mid-wicket. He did not time it though and ended up hitting it to Pat Cummins who took a fine catch after initially getting into an awkward position.

The wicket reduced RCB to 161-5 in the 17th over after Faf du Plessis decided to bat first after winning the toss. Faf himself could not score big and though Kohli scored 51, he hit it off 43 balls which is way below the standards of modern-day T20 cricket. Patidar though unleashed his might and smashed a 19-ball fifty, showing one and all that he is now well and truly back in form.
