Is there any opener who looks more dangerous than Travis Head at present? Probably not. And the Australian batter kept on doing the good work on Saturday during SRH’s IPL 2024 clash against Delhi Capitals, that too in their own backyard at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
After winning the toss, Rishabh Pant asked SRH to bat first, a call that was nothing short of gambling. It did not work out, as SRH raced to 42 runs in just the first 12 balls. Of them, Head did the most damage, scoring 32 runs off just 10 deliveries, putting DC in trouble early.
Head started with the dot, off Khaleel Ahmed before unleashing his supreme power. The SRH opener went hard against left-arm fast bowler, pulling in front of the square leg for six runs. On the next two balls, he added another eight runs by smashing back-to-back fours.
After watching early throws, Pant could not control his emotions, probably thinking the toss decision might come out as a blunder.

At the time of writing this, SRH, as usual, are flying high above the sky, with Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head going berserk, batting on 14* and 54* respectively. SRH have raced to 70/0 after 3.3 overs.
