Kieron Pollard is one of the finest strikers of the cricket ball and whenever he hits it, it normally puts people around him in trouble due to his sheer power. However, in the PSL 2024 clash between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, an unusual event happened where Kieron Pollard's bat got broken as he played a cover drive off a full delivery.

The incident happened in the 13th over on the third delivery when Tayyab Abbas bowled it full and outside off. Pollard who was new in his crease played a drive and got a single as well towards deep cover but in the process he was left with only handle in his hand as the rest of the bat flew away from him.

Kieron Pollard probably got distracted by the event and ended up losing his wicket on the final delivery of the over and it looked like Karachi Kings have lost their way in the run-chase.

 However, Shoaib Malik showed his class yet again and took Karachi Kings over the line with a last-ball boundary in an absolute thriller to leave Shaheen Afridi and company with their seventh loss in 9 games.
