Team India captain Rohit Sharma, known for his witty remarks on and off the field, recently teased the young guns – Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Dhruv Jurel.

The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team sealed the series against England with a commanding 4-1 margin, rebounding strongly after a surprising loss in the series opener in Hyderabad. The team displayed remarkable consistency, securing four consecutive Test victories in Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala.

India began their winning streak with a 106-run triumph in Vizag, followed by an emphatic 434-run win in Rajkot. They continued their dominance with a five-wicket victory in the Ranchi Test and concluded the series with an innings and 64-run win in Dharamsala. After enduring a long and hard-fought series, the Indian players celebrated their success at the team's hotel.

Celebrating their hard-fought victory, the Indian players gathered at the team hotel. Rohit shared a photo on Instagram with Shubman Gill, Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Jurel on social media.

“Garden mein ghoomne wale bande” (Guys who roam around the garden).

This witty remark by Rohit recalled a similar incident during the second Test in Visakhapatnam, where he expressed dissatisfaction with his teammates' fielding efforts. During the match, Rohit's frustration was captured on the stump mic when he was heard chastising his players. The incident occurred in the 31st over when Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes were at the crease. Rohit's remark,

"Koi bhi garden mein ghumega, maa c*** dunga sabki" (Anyone wandering in the garden, I will abuse everyone’s mothers), quickly became viral on social media, eliciting laughter from fans.

In addition to his playful banter, Rohit also displayed a touching gesture after the series concluded. He presented the winning trophy to the players who made their Test debut during the five-match long series against England.
