Young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal had a terrific day with the bat as he struck a belligerent fifty in Rajasthan Royals' ongoing IPL 2024 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

During his knock, the opener hammered the Hyderabad bowlers along all parts of the ground, keeping the Royals alive in a nervy run-chase.

The explosive southpaw stamped his authority over the Sunrisers skipper Pat Cummins, smacking him for a huge six during his stay in the middle.

The incident occurred during the fifth over of RR's innings when they were rocked by the early dismissals of Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson.

Despite losing two of his partners at the other end, Jaiswal didn't hesitate to play his natural game, unleashing his beast mode against none other than SRH captain Pat Cummins.

As the Aussie great introduced himself into the attack, Jaiswal greeted him with successive boundaries. If that wasn't enough, the Indian youngster delivered the killer blow in the fifth delivery, sending Cummins' 150.7 KPH corker disdainfully to the third tier.

Jaiswal eventually brought up his fifty, making a huge statement before the all-important T20 World Cup. Riding on his blistering knock and Riyan Parag's flamboyant fifty, RR were in the driving seat, placed at 135 for three in 13.3 overs as of writing.
