Hardik Pandya is back!. The Mumbai Indians skipper has looked sharp, and has looked hungry in the ongoing clash against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede.

The 5-time champions are already out of the tournament, and so, with pride on the line, Hardik stepped up against a rampant SRH batting order. He got the prized scalp of Nitish Kumar Reddy, and followed it up by knocking over Shahbaz Ahmed.

However, Hardik's full rhythm with the ball was witnessed when he castled Marco Jansen with a pearler. The MI captain bowled a length ball and it nipped back in sharply to knock over Jansen's stumps. The SRH all-rounder was stunned as he failed to judge the speed of the ball and miscued his heave.

An elated Hardik celebrated his third wicket, knowing that this was his best performance for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024.

Talking about the match, MI are in cruise control, having dismissed all the key SRH batters. Barring Travis Head, none of the batters contributed for the Orange Army. Alongside Hardik, Jasprit Bumrah was the chief destroyer, picking up a solitary wicket for just 15 runs.

SRH are in a pole position to reach the playoffs, but they still need to win this contest to ease the pressure on themselves.
