Janhvi Kapoor, who will be seen in the sports film 'Mr and Mrs Mahi', attended the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) match between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium.

Dressed up in crop top and baggy jeans, Janhvi stole the limelight as she cheered for her favourite team - Mumbai Indians. The Bollywood actress turned  cheerleader for the team and rooted for Hardik Pandya's team, as MI lost a close-fought battle.

Apart from cheering for her favourite IPL side, Janhvi also turned the match into a promotional event, as he wore the crop top with 'Mahi' written on it, and on the back side it was written, "Cricket is life aur life is cricket."

Janhvi Kapoor enjoys the MI-KKR game 

The actress took to her Instagram and shared several pictures from the eventful day. The 27-year-old also posted a video, wherein she was enjoying Suryakumar Yadav's batting, and tagged her co-star Rajkumar Rao in it, with the caption - "Mahis day out 🏏 Mr Mahi missed you there, Rajkummar Rao."

Unfortunately for her, the five-time IPL champions lost the game against KKR, as they failed to chase down 170, despite a valiant effort from Suryakumar.

Kapoor's next film, 'Mr and Mrs Mahi', which is a sports based film, is slated to release on May 31.
