Jake Fraser-McGurk had a poor outing with the bat against the Gujarat Titans, but he was a livewire on the field and produced a breath-taking catch to dismiss Azmatullah Omarzai.

Chasing an improbable 224, the required rate climbed once the power-play ended for GT. Wriddhiman Saha gave a lightning-fast start, but once he departed, GT pressed the panic button and Omarzai followed him back to the pavilion.

The wicket happened in the 11th over, when Axar Patel bowled a fuller length ball and Omarzai had to go for the big shot. He miscued the attempted slog as the ball travelled quickly towards the deep mid-wicket region.

Fraser-McGurk charged towards the ball, but it looked like he won't make it on time. However, the Aussie cricketer judged the catch to perfection and dived in well to grab one of the best catches of the competition.

The catch also sent shockwaves in the GT camp as everyone expected the fielder to spill it out. Talking about the match, DC posted a commanding 224/4, thanks to an assault by Rishabh Pant (88* off 43). He was amply supported by Axar Patel, who scored his maiden fifty of the season.

At the moment, Sai Sudharsan has kept GT alive in the chase and has slammed a quick-fire fifty.
