During today's RCB versus Punjab Kings game at Chinnaswamy, a fan breached security and ran onto the pitch, falling at Kohli's feet after hugging him. Security quickly intervened and escorted the pitch invader away.

Virat Kohli was at the crease against Punjab Kings, chasing 178 runs at RCB's home ground, the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Despite tight security, an enthusiastic fan managed to breach the stadium and run towards Kohli. This isn't the first time such an incident has occurred with Kohli, as a player of his stature receives this kind of adoration both in India and abroad. 

Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings in the first game at Chinnaswamy this season, scoring 77 runs off 49 balls, including 11 boundaries and 2 sixes, after getting a life in the first ball he faced. While RCB was chasing 178 runs, losing wickets at one end, Kohli anchored the innings and took the game forward. However, he was dismissed by former RCB player Harshal Patel. Kohli played some beautiful shots before getting out which his fans would've loved.
