It seems nothing is going in favour of Rajasthan Royals (RR) as the daunting openers of Royal Challengers Bengaluru - Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis - gave the home team a hard day at the office in Jaipur on Saturday.

Putting salt on the wounds, Trent Boult - fielding at long-off - dropped a sitter off Yuzvendra Chahal, giving Du Plessis an extra day to tell his tale. 

The wily RR leggie bowled a canny flighted delivery, on which the RCB skipper danced down the track but to mistime his slog straight towards Boult near the fence, who ended up missing an easy peasy chance.

Fortunately for the Royals, Chahal got rid on the RCB skipper (44 off 33) on the very next delivery, as Chahal drew the first blood of the evening in Jaipur.

After which, the home team took got two more wickets in a quick span; however, Kohli held the forte from one end, scoring his 8th IPL century and taking RCB's total to a respectable zone.

At the time of publishing, RCB's score reads 183/3 at the mid-innings mark, of which Kohli only smashed 113 runs.
