Yuzvendra Chahal became the first player in the history of the IPL to get 200 wickets in the competition on Monday (April 22) during Match 38 of the IPL 2024 between Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians, taking place in Jaipur.

The veteran leg-spinner dismissed Mohammad Nabi, fondly called as 'The President',  and he brought out the iconic Lionel Messi's celebration to enjoy the moment.

Chahal bowled a middle and leg stump line to Nabi, who went to flick it in an attempt to get a boundary. However, the Afghanistan all-rounder committed to the shot too early, and hence, he could only get a leading edge. Chahal completed a simple catch, and soon after, he pointed towards the sky, something what Messi often does after scoring a goal. 

Notably, Chahal did while bending down his knees, while Messi does the same standing tall.
