In a moment of sheer cricketing brilliance, young Indian wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel showcased his game-reading skills during the ongoing fifth Test match between England and India at Dharamsala, leading to the dismissal of English batter Ollie Pope.

The incident occurred in the 25th over bowled by Kuldeep Yadav, where Jurel's acute prediction and smart wicket-keeping skills were on full display.

Before Kuldeep delivered a one of greatest ball bowled in India, Jurel had already anticipated Pope's move, whispering, "Badega aage, badega aage," (he will step out).

As predicted, Pope advanced down the pitch and reached halfway down, expecting a different variation from Kuldeep and he threw his wicket on the stroke of Lunch.

However, the ball, a quicker delivery pitched outside off stump, didn't turn back as Pope anticipated, beating his outside edge.

Jurel made no mistake behind the stumps, completing a stumping that highlighted his exceptional game awareness.

This dismissal added to Kuldeep's tally, marking his second wicket of the match. Earlier in the session, Shubman Gill had taken a sensational diving catch off Yadav's bowling to dismiss Duckett, showcasing India's fielding skills.

Meanwhile, the wrist-spinner bagged a five-wicket haul in the innings, completing his fourth in the career.

Despite England winning the toss and choosing to bat first, ending the first session at 100/2, the tourists them themselves in deep waters as they got all-out for 218 within 58 overs.
