Virat Kohli's entertaining 27-ball 42 came to an end on Saturday (May 4) in Match 52 of IPL 2024 between RCB and Gujarat Titans (GT) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Noor Ahmad took the massive wicket, as Wriddhiman Saha's excellent catch with the big gloves left the stadium in pin-drop silence.

After coming to chase a below-par 148, RCB were 92/0 in just 5.4 overs, with Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli smashing the bowlers all over the park. Then the collapse started, as their following top four, Will Jacks, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, and Cam Green, just came and went with single digit scores.

That brought pressure on Kohli, and he paid the price during the 11th over of RCB’s innings. Noor Ahmad bowled a delivery just outside the off stump to tempt Kohli for a drive. And the former RCB skipper did exactly that, leaving a faint outside edge before Saha took a superb catch.

Kohli started to walk off immidiately after, while Anushka Sharma, who was present in the stands, was seen biting her fingers in disappointment.

However, RCB eventually won the match by four wickets with 38 balls in hand.
